Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects throughout her career. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also an active member of the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
