Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James was the mixed-race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) along with Patty James. Her mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. In 2010, he graduated of Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in 2015. James first became famous by his character on The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020 he got selected as the bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25 becoming the only African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James is a great fit to play the role because he's tall, handsome and funny. Rachael Krukconnell was his love interest at the close of the season. He teamed up with the well-known professional dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th place.
